💛Great amount of parking.
💛Ambulance and other vehicles on site which gave me reassurance even more.
💛Plenty of stewards along the course to aid in people.
💛Café at the start with a farm shop.
💛 Lots of jumps of different sizes, great for all abilities (some seemed scary for me).
💛 Is also an amazing place to bring your kids with dad to enjoy a day on the farm petting the lambs whilst you ride.
💛 Lots and I mean spoilt for choice in gallop/canter sections.
💛 Ground was very good, could really up the paces without worry of injury.
🏇 The whole ride was absolutely amazing! Hector going solo at fun rides is the way forward. We did spook at the cows at the beginning of the ride beyond that we had little to no issues. There is a river in the middle of the ride which allowed us to have a drink, although there are plenty of horsey drinkers throughout the ride. The pub which I would've stopped at if I wasn't on a mission looked well organized with the riders parked in the garden grabbing drinks. I did appreciate the well place signage for the short vs the long ride and lead rein. We did go around at a fair speed, mainly trotting and cantering. We managed 11.2 miles in 1hr 20mins. All in all a great day. I found the ride very relaxing for us both but with enough jumps to keep us entertained, that have variable sizes from logs on the ground to good large fences. The ride is perfect for youngsters trying to get their foot in the door for an event that isn't too chaotic. We did have so many options for cantering/galloping I was almost spoilt for choice. Small wooded areas we where grateful for to shade from the sun as well as good signs placed for road users to slow down for horses which I think is paramount.
In conclusion, it is the only ride to date I could do happily solo again and again without hesitation, we just keep coming back.
Big thank you to Cotswold Farm Park Photography for these amazing photos 💛
